Just as a side note since it wasn't mentioned, holding down the X key during startup forces the computer to boot into Mac OS X. This was needed when a Dual boot into OS 9 was possible, and I wasn't sure why Apple kept it around, but I am sure you are glad they did! Glad you saved it!
